Soul-mates

I am a soul and I'm here to tell you a story..

It was a fine evening, Adam was strolling in the garden in no particular direction. He was alone in the world and at that particular moment he felt very alone. He wanted someone to share his feeling with, for the garden was very beautiful. After all, it was the garden of heaven and Adam was a soul.

He seemed so alone and sad that God, while going for a round of the universe, noticed Adam walking along the paths of the garden. He stopped and called Adam to know the reason of his unhappiness.

'What happened Adam? Why are you so sad?'
'It's nothing Father,' he lied.
'You are a soul, my child, you can't lie to me.'
'I am sorry, Father. It's the loneliness that's bothering me. I have no one to share my experiences with,' he said shaking his head.
'Ah! I see.'

The God smiled and did a very unexpected and surprising thing, which amazed the followers of the God. He split the soul of Adam into two and he named the other as Eve.

'Here's your companion, Adam. She's Eve,' he said pointing at the other half of his, 'from today, you both will exist as one. Only when you are together, will you feel as one, otherwise, whenever you are apart, you both will crave for each other. Whenever, you will take a form of a body on the planet earth, you will be two different bodies but whenever, you will be together as a body, you will be like one,' with that the God went away leaving the two souls together.

And that's how the soul-mates came into existence.

Why am I telling you this? To tell you about the soul-mates. You humans think that soul-mates are the person, who is your husband or wife or girl-friend or boy-friend. But that is not the case.

Soul-mates are not only your husband or wife but it can be your friend, your brother, your sister, or even your one of the parents. Ever felt a strong connection with anyone? May be your sibling, with whom you felt like you are one or even your best friend.

Soul-mates are two souls when come together they are complete. They compliment each other, with their thoughts or actions. They have their shares of their fight too, after all they take a form of the humans but they just can't live without each other.

But when the soul-mates come to earth as a life partner to each other, the things are little different. 'Cause you have to wait a long to meet the special one. Although, your life partner could be your friend too but for most of the cases, it's not. Generally, you meet your soul-mate, unexpectedly in a very holy place, and by holy place I don't only mean temples or churches but even schools or college or an institutions. As, after all, souls are split in two by God, himself.

You feel a special connection with the person, even though you have met him/her a few minutes ago. It's like you know him/her from ages. A pure relation that you could relate to. Some out of the world connection that you can't imagine with others.

A soul waits for years and years, sometimes lives and lives to meet it's mate. I hope you are waiting too..
